Rectella is a family owned, private company that was founded in the 1950s. Bar-Be-Quick is a registered trademark that Rectella International Ltd introduced some 30 years later.
Bar-Be-Quick is well-known for their famous disposable instant barbecues. However, over the years, some inventive range extensions have resulted in a wide collection of outdoor products helping consumers ‘barbecue in style’.
They were also the first UK charcoal supplier to obtain FSC® certification for its charcoal products and recently became the first global supplier of Fairly Traded Charcoal.
Rectella chose us because they needed bags producing urgently for their ‘Instant Light Lumpwood Charcoal’. After years of working together, they knew they could trust us to do a great job and deliver to their desired date.
During this time, Law Print had only just started working with new partner Cartotecnica Postumia Spa. Based in the Veneto region of Italy, the family run company has over 50 years’ experience in paper bag manufacturing and works with many of Europe’s most established brands and retailers.
Naturally, clients can be a bit reluctant to trust new manufacturers, even those with great reputations. Postumia won the ‘Best in Flexo’ 2018 award, and is an agile and flexible company that shares and complements the culture and ethos at Law Print.
Following our recommendation and after all quality checks were complete, Rectella were more than confident and happy to work with us and Postumia.
Then the real challenge commenced – we had just over two weeks to prepare the artwork, print, convert and deliver. With paper in such short supply globally, to achieve this type of turnaround time is near impossible for many suppliers. However, we managed to turn the project around promptly and in turn, we received this terrific testimonial for the team.
