Country Range Rice

Law Print has worked with a growing number of rice brands that have enjoyed a busier-than-normal few years due to the increased demand for staple products. SPL Foods came to us to relaunch the Country Range products in packaging suitable for the food service sector.

Not only did the 5Kg rice bags need to be strong enough to withstand the weight, but they still had to offer convenience and retail appeal whilst being fit for purpose.

They opted for our conventional quad seal bags in PET/PE structure, with a practical punched-out handle and clear front window.

Country Range is a leading independent food service brand, which provides its customers with a value-for-money proposition without any need to compromise on taste or quality. The quality, consistency and affordability of their products make the Country Range brand widely regarded as the best in food service.

This is why Country Range ensures their packaging goes through a stringent approval process to ensure it arrives in your kitchen with clear and concise on-pack detail. The black and silver design has become synonymous with the brand, and although this project introduced a new look, it still retains the familiarity that will continue for generations to come whether that be at home or at work.

The large window on the front allows for a clear view of the quality of the product inside.

The four-corner seal design provides excellent reinforcement, allowing you to fill bags with more product, whilst the two side gussets increase the information and branding space to 4 graphic panels.

This format is also ideal for the product weight and its strength means that additional features such as handles can be considered. Convenience-driven features are of great added value to today’s busy, on-the-go consumer.

Having vast experience in supplying rice bags suitable for the cash & carry / catering sector, Law Print provided high-strength packaging with a premium look to match the quality of the rice products.

All 3 SKUs – Basmati, Long Grain & Wholegrain Rice – complement each other and convey the brand image to the consumers.

Overall, we ensured a smooth transition from the existing FFS bags to pre-made bags, designed to the exact requirements of the packer and the end customer. Another project was delivered on point!

Over the years, Law Print has become a bit of an expert supplying bags to various rice brands. Working closely with a number of UK packers, we have gained great knowledge of the sector requirements, ensuring that the packaging solutions that we offer are suitable for both retail and food service environments. Never forgetting that bags designed for rice products have to perform first and foremost, we also understand that despite being a commodity product, it can often be very expensive and the packaging must reflect the quality of the rice inside.
