Faithful Dog Food

Faithful is a newcomer to the pet food market in the UK and pride themselves on being one of the very few to offer a traditionally baked dog food.

They recognised us as a packaging expert in the field and trusted us with being the first to help launch their new products using our Ready 2 Recycle Flat Bottom and Quad Seal bags.

Faithful is a subscription-based dog food supplier who firmly believes in 100% British sourced products, being involved in the full process from Barn to Bowl.

They not only focus on the quality of product and the added value service to their customers, it was also really important for them to use a more sustainable packaging solution to complement their brand identity. After all, they are called Faithful for a reason!

What did we do?

As Faithful are a new business entering the world of pet food, we were able to guide them throughout the whole process. Specifically, we provided them with advice on pack formats, material specifications, as well as new features coming to the market and finishes.

In addition, we sent out various samples to help them choose the most suitable bags and carry out the initial test filling which is something we recommend that our customers do.  It doesn’t matter if you are an old customer and have packed pet food products for a long time, bags will be packed differently and products have different densities.

Faithful believes that slow baked dry dog food is better for your dog. Above all, their baking process can better protect the natural goodness and deliciousness of their wholesome ingredients. It also means they don’t need to add anything artificial at the end of the process to make it taste and smell good.

That is why we recommended our Ready 2 Recycle packaging solutions. With an additional requirement for convenience, we also specified a single lip zipper on the 2.5Kg & 5Kg bags that allow the consumers to re-close them easily.
