The founder worked with a team of industry experts and nutritionists to design a range of Freeze Dried dog food that is as wholesome as it is convenient. The Kibble Plus product formula ensured the highest quality, but the packaging had to communicate this value at first glance. It needed to reflect the love, care, and attention to detail that had gone into the product. The challenge was creating packaging that would protect and preserve the food, and visually and emotionally connect with customers, while standing out in a crowded market.
Flat-bottom bags and stand-up pouches were chosen for their versatility and aesthetic appeal. These formats offered practical benefits like stability for storage and transportation, while their premium design set them apart on shelves. The use of metallic inks and spot varnish created a sophisticated, eye-catching look, adding a tactile and visual element that emphasised the product’s premium quality. Practicality was equally important, and a resealable single zipper was incorporated to ensure the food stayed fresh, making it easy and convenient for pet parents to use daily.
Selecting the ideal colour palette was a critical part of ensuring the packaging reflected the brand’s vibrant and loving identity. This is why, our sales manager Gavin was present at our factory in Vietnam to approve the final colour choices on press. This added a personal touch to the packaging’s story, reinforcing the dedication and care poured into every detail.
