Canagan Revamp

After setting up the bar very high with a unique brand identity and matching high quality packaging, the Symply team thought it was however time for Canagan to go through a refresh.

At Law Print, we were of course delighted to be part of the journey and tasked again with the revamp project.  Since 2012, both companies have supported each other and we realised first hand that Canagan was more than a brand, it had become the benchmark in the pet food industry. Existing and new customers alike were, and still are, referring to the very unique packaging concept.

Just A Refresh

Symply clearly didn’t want to shake things up too much with a full re-brand but recognised that the time was right for a refresh of the existing bags.  We couldn’t agree more as the uniqueness of the brand is still there but the new design illustrations give the bags an extra edge.

When all the elements are there for a successful product range, it can be a risk to try and change it, even the slightest.  However, it is clear that the Symply had a vision for the future of the brand and the results look absolutely fantastic.

Range Extension

At the same time, Symply took the opportunity to review that range and introduce two new lines – Highland Feast and Dental.

Canagan Highland Feast and Canagan Free Run Turkey Dental are both specially formulated grain free formulas with a selection of vegetables and botanicals, one with even higher levels of super digestible protein and the other with clinically effective ingredient ProDen PlaqueOff® which reduces plaque naturally, combined with a special kibble shape to help keep teeth cleaner.

Customer Feedback

Having recently undergone a complete packaging refresh across our entire Canagan brand, we have found the process to be fast and efficient as always from Law Print. Admittedly we were a bit dubious on how they could improve on such a recognisable brand but at the same time excited to see what their design team would come up with. We were not disappointed, the new illustration work is superb and very much in line with the original premium look.
