Nova Dog Chews Case Study

Law Print Pack has long been at the forefront of providing innovative and reliable packaging solutions to clients. This time, we worked with Nova Dog Chews to supply them with a versatile and attractive generic stand-up pouch for their Paddock Farm range, that not only protects the dog treats but also offers ease of use and enhanced shelf presence.

Generic pouches enable a business to overlabel and customise them, giving a brand the opportunity to launch a diverse portfolio, without the need for many lines of packaging to be produced and reducing origination costs. However, it doesn’t mean that you have to compromise on quality or sustainability, as these Doypack pouches are fully recyclable thanks to the mono material structure of MDOPE / LLDPE.

This project was our first successful collaboration with Nova Dog Chews, having since supplied them with own label pouches for similar treat products sold by a pet trade retailer in the UK. Given the comprehensive specifications, it was crucial for their team to find a production partner capable of delivering high-quality results within a tight timeframe. Enter Law Print!

What did we do?

Paddock Farm Treats and Chews by Nova Dog Chews offer your four-legged friend a wide variety of chews and treats from across the globe. These delectable treats and chews are crafted from high-quality, ethically sourced ingredients, ensuring a farm-fresh experience for your canine companion.

Law Print specified MDOPE film for the outer layer to ensure higher barrier properties and give the pouches some rigidity. We implemented a top zipper, easy open cuts and laser scoring for consumer convenience, especially as treats are used on the go. A euro slot was also added for effective retail display. The clear front window allows customers to see the product inside, fostering trust and encouraging purchases. Employing flexographic printing technology to achieve vibrant colours and sharp details, with a spot matt varnish to enhance the tactile and visual appeal.

As part of the process, we always conduct rigorous quality checks to ensure the final product meet all specified requirements and exceed client expectations. Generic pouches can still make a significant impact on sales, demonstrating the value of well-designed packaging in the competitive pet food market.
