As the sports nutrition and supplement market grows, more brands have been looking for ways to make their products appeal to a wider unisex demographic.
SCI-MX Nutrition traditionally pack their Whey Protein products in tub containers. On the retail launch of their lean muscle range, we worked with the team to develop an array of flexible stand-up pouches – the perfect format for convenience driven retail environments.
We worked with SCI-MX Nutrition to create Stand Up Pouches for their Whey Protein 450g bags in three different flavours, strawberry, chocolate and glazed doughnut. The design of the bags took cues from the wider SCI-MX branding but with a more modern, gender neutral finish and the flavours were all represented with a different vivid highlighting colour.
The team settled on a press to close zipper and metallised PET lamination combined with Spot Matt Varnish to pick out highlighting areas across the front of the pouch.
Along with the 3 Whey Protein flavours, we produced 450g Diet Protein bags in 2 flavours and Creatine Monohydrate in a smaller 250g pouch.
