Not only did we supply new recyclable PE/PE pouches for their core range of treats but we also worked on this Christmas pack. The seasonality of these treats dictated that we had to deliver the pouches in a timely manner to ensure a successful launch in stores and online.

Founded in 1971, Forthglade is a well-established brand and leader in the natural pet food market. As with all of their food and treats, their products are completely free from junk, fillers and artificial flavours, colourants and preservatives. The Christmas addition is no exception – tasty, heart-shaped and made with natural ingredients.
Like many other brands at the moment, Forthglade packs their super treats into versatile stand-up pouches. They offer a wealth of branding space for those seasonal packaging designs, and they can also accommodate different features such as zippers and easy tear notches.
The clear front window is a ‘treat’ for the eyes, as it allows the customer (and those eagle-eyed doggies) to see the product before they buy. You know what they say, we eat with our eyes first! The resealable zipper is a huge plus too as it helps to keep those yummy treats fresher for longer. Each heart-shaped treat can be broken in two for smaller dogs, or just to make them last longer.

Pouches can be printed with Rotogravure up to 10 colours, which was ideal for Forthglade and the festive design they have gone with this year. Greens, whites and reds stand out beautifully, and the whole pouch is topped off with a spot matt varnish to give a high-quality result.
