The BRC Global Standard for Agents and Brokers has been developed to provide a framework for managing product safety, quality and legality for these non-manufacturing businesses in the food and packaging industries.
Since 2014 we’ve worked to BRC storage and distribution standards, but the introduction of agents and brokers certification is more in line with our wider business operations.
The BRC Global Standard is divided into five sections that cover:
- Senior management’s commitment and continual improvement
- Hazard and risk assessment
- Product safety and quality management systems
- Supplier and subcontracted service management
- Personnel
We are delighted to have achieved all the above criteria and proven our safety, quality and legal standards of the business. The updated accreditation sits alongside our existing ISO 9001 quality standards.
