Sustainability is a growing concern in today’s world, and it’s becoming increasingly important for businesses to reduce their carbon footprint. At Law Print we are taking steps to contribute to sustainability in our own way.

A significant step we’ve taken to reduce our carbon footprint is the installation of solar panels on the roof of our building. By generating our own electricity, we’re reducing our reliance on the traditional energy grid and contributing to a more sustainable future.

We’ve also switched to LED lighting inside the building, reducing the energy consumed when the office is used. LED lighting uses up to 80% less energy than traditional lighting, such as incandescent bulbs. LED lighting can last up to 25 times longer than traditional lighting, meaning we will need to replace our lighting less frequently.

We’re not alone in our efforts to reduce our carbon footprint. All of our partner manufacturers have also taken steps to reduce their energy consumption and impact on the environment. This is done by installing solar panels to produce in-house electricity, collecting material waste and inks, regranulating virgin trims from production into new PE resin pellets for their own extrusion facilities.

One of our factory partners reduces the thickness of its packaging material wherever possible, thus reducing the use of resources. This source reduction method helps decrease waste and environmental impact.

Another way our factory is reducing its footprint is through ‘Energy Conservation’. They’re conserving energy by reducing the heating and cooling processes in their extruders. By running their extruders 24/7, they save energy and reduce carbon emissions. They also make sure that when transporting packaging, the shipments are full.

It’s also worth mentioning our Ready2Recycle product solutions again as they are 100% recyclable! Recyclable packaging is made of materials that can be used again after processing. In the debate over how to solve the global plastics problem, many industry figures have repeatedly highlighted recycling as the lynchpin of packaging sustainability moving forward.
