In 2024, Law Print turned 20 years old. Tim Law, the founder, started the company at home with just a phone and a pen and paper. The company grew from a small family-run business, which now has a team of 15 and is still expanding.
BECOMING A MEMBER OF SCGP
In October 2023, Tim and his wife Morven, announced their retirement, and subsequently, the sale of the business to SCGP. However, as we said back in October, our views and core values will not change, and that remains the case today.
Our long-lasting relationships with our clients are still very much thriving. We understand our customers, and this is reflected in the commitment to each other, from both parties.
In 20 years, Law Print has gone from strength to strength, and we are happy to say that for the most part, nothing has changed. Our managing director Carole is still at the helm, steering us through the changes and the abundance of new avenues we now have available to us.
We are a global packaging supplier, and this is now easier than ever to execute. With connections across the world, and new factories at our fingertips, we can provide the newest of innovations which can be utilised by our customers, new and old.
Although we are based in the United Kingdom, we work with a network of high-quality accredited manufacturers and suppliers at an international scale. This enables us to deliver solutions to clients across many industries and many countries.
WHO ARE SCGP?
SCG Packaging is a rapidly expanding division of the Siam Cement Group, specialising in the packaging industry. It is a significant player in the packaging business in Asia.
SCG Packaging provides a variety of packaging solutions for different industries, including food and beverage, consumer products, and industrial applications. Their product range encompasses various packaging materials, such as paper-based packaging, flexible packaging, and rigid plastic packaging.

This acquisition will consolidate our position in both the UK and EU and enable us to explore further into North America extending our reach to a more diverse and extensive customer base. SCGP is a global group, with bases across Asia and Europe that can work together to strengthen collaborations and relationships.
In conclusion, whilst it is only natural to be concerned about a small family business becoming part of a large corporation, it is nothing to be worried about, especially if that business is committed to keeping its core values the same. We are still a family-run business at heart!
