At Law Print, community has always been at the heart of what we do. Every year, we set aside £10,000 to donate to charities that are close to our hearts—causes that reflect the compassion, care, and values shared by our team and wider community.

This year, rather than supporting just one organisation, we made the decision to split our donation between four incredible charities, each making an extraordinary difference in very different but equally important ways:

  • The Christie

  • Alzheimer’s Society

  • Stockport Foodbank

  • Manchester & Cheshire Dogs Home

Each of these charities represents a cause that deeply resonates with people across our business, whether through personal experiences, family connections, or a shared belief in supporting those most in need.

The Christie – Supporting World-Leading Cancer Care

The Christie is one of Europe’s largest single-site cancer centres, treating more than 60,000 patients every year. Their work goes far beyond treatment—they fund vital research, improve facilities, enhance patient wellbeing, and ensure that people facing cancer receive the very best level of care and support.

For many families, The Christie has been part of their most challenging moments. Supporting this charity means helping patients not only fight cancer, but live with dignity, comfort, and hope during treatment and recovery.

Alzheimer’s Society – Standing With Those Affected by Dementia

Dementia touches nearly every family in some way, and the impact is often devastating. The Alzheimer’s Society leads the way in dementia support and research across the UK, offering:

  • Life-changing support services
  • Vital research funding
  • Emotional guidance for families and carers
  • National awareness and education

By supporting Alzheimer’s Society, we are helping people live better with dementia today while working toward a cure for tomorrow.

Stockport Foodbank – Helping Local Families in Crisis

Right on our doorstep, Stockport Foodbank plays a critical role in supporting individuals and families facing food insecurity. Their volunteers work tirelessly to provide emergency food supplies and essential items to people in crisis, offering dignity, compassion, and practical help during the most difficult times.

No one should have to choose between heating their home and feeding their family—and yet, sadly, many people still do. Supporting Stockport Foodbank allows us to give back directly to our local community and help those who need it most.

Manchester & Cheshire Dogs Home – Giving Animals a Second Chance

For over 130 years, Manchester & Cheshire Dogs Home has been rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming dogs that have been abandoned, mistreated, or left without care. Their work ensures that every dog receives:

  • Medical treatment
  • Rehabilitation
  • Love, safety, and care
  • A chance to find a forever home

Supporting this charity reflects our belief that compassion should extend to every living being. Their dedication transforms not only the lives of dogs—but also the families who welcome them home.

Why We Chose to Split Our Donation

This year, we wanted our £10,000 donation to reach as many people and causes as possible. By supporting four charities instead of one, we’re able to help:

  • Those battling life-changing illness
  • Families affected by dementia
  • Local people facing food poverty
  • Vulnerable animals in need of care and protection

Each cause represents a different kind of struggle—and the incredible power of kindness and community in overcoming it.

More Than a Donation — A Shared Commitment

These charities were chosen not by marketing trends, but by the people within Law Print who care deeply about their work. They represent stories, experiences, and values that matter to us as a business and as individuals.

We are immensely proud to support these organisations and grateful for the extraordinary work they do every single day.

We’d like to thank these charities for their hard work and dedication, especially at this time.
