It hardly feels like a year has passed since PATS 2025 – and at Law Print & Packaging, we’re still reeling from one of our proudest moments: being named Supplier of the Year.

Winning the award was a fantastic recognition for the whole Law Print team and, more importantly, reflected the relationships we’ve built across the pet food and pet care industry over many years. From established household names to ambitious challenger brands, manufacturers and co-packers, the pet sector continues to be a hugely important part of our business.

So, as PATS returns to the NEC Birmingham from 27–29 September 2026, we’re delighted to be supporting the show once again – this time by sponsoring the Dog Treat Products category at the New Product Showcase.

Back to the NEC

PATS has established itself as the UK’s leading pet and aquatics trade event, bringing together retailers, distributors, suppliers and brands from across the industry.

Following a record-breaking 2025 show, which welcomed 6,021 visitors – a 70% increase year on year – and 445 exhibitors from 15 countries, PATS is returning to the NEC for three days of networking, new product launches, innovation and industry insight.

For anyone involved in the pet industry, it’s an opportunity to catch up with familiar faces, make new connections and, of course, see what is coming next.

Putting New Products in the Spotlight

One of the areas we’re particularly looking forward to this year is the New Product Showcase.

Innovation is such an important part of the pet market. Consumer expectations continue to evolve around nutrition, functionality, convenience, sustainability and premiumisation, creating opportunities for brands to rethink not only the products they develop, but also how those products are presented and packaged.

That’s why we’re pleased to be sponsoring the Dog Treat Products category this year.

Treats have become an increasingly exciting part of the pet sector, with brands exploring everything from functional and health-focused formulations to natural ingredients, alternative proteins, training treats and premium formats.

And, from a packaging perspective, they can present some equally interesting challenges.

Barrier performance, product protection, resealability, portion size, shelf appeal, recyclability and ease of use all need to work together. Whether that’s a stand-up pouch, flat bottom bag, recyclable mono-material structure or another format entirely, the packaging has an important role to play in taking a new product from concept to shelf.

From Supplier of the Year to Supporting the Next Generation of Products

Last year’s Supplier of the Year award made PATS 2025 particularly memorable for everyone at Law Print.

For us, the recognition represented much more than supplying packaging. It reflected the technical support, problem solving, project management and collaboration that go into helping our customers bring successful products to market.

Returning in 2026 as a sponsor therefore feels particularly fitting.

We’re looking forward to seeing the products entered into the Dog Treat Products category and celebrating the creativity and innovation happening across the wider New Product Showcase.

See You at PATS 2026!

PATS is always an important date in the Law Print calendar, and after last year’s celebrations, we have even more reason to be looking forward to returning to Birmingham.

We’ll be there to catch up with customers, partners and friends from across the industry, explore the latest product and market developments, and support the brands bringing fresh ideas to the pet sector.

And while we’ll always have very fond memories of being crowned Supplier of the Year in 2025, this year it’s our turn to help shine the spotlight on somebody else.

Good luck to everyone entering the New Product Showcase – particularly, of course, our Dog Treat Products contenders!
